One year ago, the Kansas Rural Center hired a film crew from One Tree Films to come to the farm to film our farm and tell our story. They arrived in August, before Hurricane Isaac, and after months of frustrating drought. We felt like the farm wasn’t looking its best, and that we were a little worn out. But the Rural Center had been a huge help in getting a crew together in April of 2012 to help build our high tunnel, so we wanted to do whatever we could to help them out.
The video, linked below, turned out beautifully. We are so grateful to the Kansas Rural Center and happy to be “poster children” for the wonderful work that they do.
If you’d like to come see the farm, be sure to put Oct. 5-6 on your calendar. We are a participating farm on the Kaw Valley Farm Tour this year.
